THOUGHTCRIME – Call for entries!

As a TASI Member, you may already know that every month in our STUDIO INK. Magazine, we dedicate at least one page each issue to showcasing works of poetry that are sent in to our editors.

This THOUGHTCRIME section of our newsletter is much older than the newsletter itself. We never edit or censor the works that are submitted but simply insert the poems into our magazine as space permits. Authors may choose to use pseudonyms for print, but they retain the full rights to their works. TASI is proud to receive and publish poetry submissions from writers as young as grade school as well as scholars, professionals, retirees, and everyone in between.

Do you have a short work of poetry or prose that you’d like to see published in STUDIO INK magazine?
Simple send in your typed works to ink@artstudio.org and we will print them as sure as there’s space on the page!

Please include your full name or the pen name so that we can credit the author properly. We will not be able to print any entries in the Thoughtcrime section that are sent as images – please include text files or text only. Feel free to submit multiple pieces at a time. You may not receive a response or a notification about when your work will be published, we will keep your poem(s) on file until we have the space to print it so please be patient and just keep an eye on the magazine! Any further questions, please shoot an email to the editor and you will get an answer within the month.

WHILE YOU’RE AT IT don’t forget to participate in our THOUGHTCRIME LIVE open mic poetry readings as part of TASI’s First Thursday festivities each month! Signup starts at 6:00 and readings begin at 6:30. This event is free and open to the public. You may choose to read an original work or any favorite poem of yours. All ages and levels are welcome to participate!
