The Art Studio Inc, is hosting a series of online auction sales that will benefit both the artists and TASI. The “Virtual Summer Spree” begins May 30and continues until June 27.
“It’s a great way for us to continue featuring artists throughout the Summer — virtually,” she said.
All art is donated by local artists, and by choice, the artists are donating between 25 percent and 100 percent of sales to support TASI.
Beginning May 30, and every Saturday in June, TASI will post a new collection of art for sale that week. All bids should be called into the office ay 409-838-5393, or in person at 720 Franklin during office hours, Tuesday-Saturday, noon to 5 p.m.
Videos featuring the art for sale will be posted to Facebook and photos of the work will be posted to TASI’s website at artstudio.org.
Among the artists featured in the sale are Victor Higginbotham, Randy Edwards, Sirena Laburn, Mariah Mixon, Elizabeth Fontenot, James Allen King, Nathan Yellow-Jones, Dixie Deyné and Vanessa Callahan.
Anyone interested in participating in the “Virtual Summer Spree” auction should call TASI at 409-838-5393. Donations will be accepted through Saturday, June 20, and all sales will end Saturday, June 27.
