Pictorial Muscle: Dylan Newton – “What does it mean to be human?”

Dylan Newton is a photographer based in Austin, Texas that specializes in Cyberpunk as a photographic genre, as well as editorial fashion, and 35mm film. Cyberpunk is a genre of science fiction that is set in a lawless subculture of an oppressive society dominated by computer technology. After watching the movie “Ghost In the Shell (1995),” Dylan has focused on telling stories of this dystopian world through photography. All of the masks that the models are wearing are hand made by Dylan, himself. Dylan’s mission is to explore the world of cyberpunk through photography and ask the question, “What does it mean to be human?”
