Join instructor Elizabeth Fontenot to get hands-on experience designing, carving, and printing your very own linoleum block print in this two-day workshop. Perfect for beginners, all ages 13 and up!
Day one will consist of materials, process, and vocabulary introduction. We will discuss design strategies and methods for transferring your ideas on the linoleum surface. Participants will also be shown how to carve their designs on the first day.
On day two, we will review how to set up the printing press, prepare paper, and print our linoleum blocks in water-based ink. Participants will leave with their own set of unique prints.
Saturday, June 17 & Sunday, June 18

$80 per student (for two sessions)
All materials provided.
Please bring a sketch, picture, or idea for your design.
Wear work clothes – the ink will stain!
Learn and experiment with the art of collage taught by Grace Mathis! This class is for all levels of artists, perfect for beginners, starting at age ten. All materials will be provided. Students may also bring additional materials from home to further personalize their creations! (Old photos, magazines, newspapers, scrap paper, ribbon, lace, fabric scraps, wrapping paper, wallpaper, swatches, old greeting cards, stickers, stamps, and other sundries).

Join instructor Karey Richard for an inclusive art lesson! Participate in adaptive art projects that anyone can enjoy, created especially for budding artists with special needs, and their siblings! Feel free to contact us in advance to prepare for any specific needs or adaptive tools that would be especially helpful. All students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the class. All ages 8+.
