At 40 years old TASI is finally growing up! Don’t worry, we won’t let our maturity stop our zany antics at Band Nite; art openings will always be casual with engaging conversations and beautiful people. We will always be our fun-loving goofy selves. What you will find is vast improvements financially as we have moved to a more fiscally responsible third party system that is far more accountable and transparent and assures our donors that we are doing exactly what we should be doing to satisfy all requirements of the contribution. Board Treasurer, Beau Carroll has revamped how we do business and established parameters to assure a fiscally responsible organization that is ready for the next step in the growth and viability of our beloved Art Studio. Our staff is on target as they cooperate with each other to make sure our programs run smoothly, our accounting is accurate, and studio operations are as efficient as possible. Another part of this initiative is to assure that tenant artists are utilizing the facility, are actively creating art and participating in Studio activities such as the annual Tenant Show and sales opportunities like Summer Spree and Shop-O-Rama. We have improved our administrative arm to be more responsive to our tenants with a dedicated coordinator to assure studios are being properly utilized by active artists and to offer new spaces when they come available. All of this is to raise our bar and move into the next step in the development of The Studio for the next 40 years. We hope you support us in our efforts to make The Art Studio better equipped and able to handle the growing population of artists this amazing community continues to foster.
