“Another happiness for me is seeing young artists whose family comes to see their work displayed on a gallery wall for the first time. I hope their experience with art is as fulfilling, challenging, and lasting as it has been for me and generations of artists from Southeast Texas.”
“Natural World” a collection of mixed media sculptures by Julie Lee will be on view in the Art Studio’s Main Gallery, while “In a land called Ventura” featuring digital and traditional artwork by Emily Lewis will be on view in the Art Studio’s Maudee Gallery.
Now on view in TASI’s Maudee Gallery. The artwork will be on view through November 27 during TASI’s regular gallery hours:

Randall Ensley is an award winning artist and illustrator in the science fiction genre. Ensley’s ink illustrations transport viewers to fantastical realms, blending intricate detail with vibrant storytelling.
“My goal as an artist is to be able to communicate visually in such a way as to stimulate the viewer’s imagination to see not only with their eyes but also with their hearts. I hope to evoke a mood to which viewers will respond.”
Paintings by Doug Jackson on view in TASI’s Main Gallery through October 26.
Doug Jackson was born in 1953 with Cerebral Palsy and is unable to use his hands or legs– despite this, he discovered a passion for art at age 11 after watching his brother painting at an easel. His brother attached a paintbrush to the end of Jackson’s headband stylus and from then on, Jackson used this method to create his art.
