As loyal patrons might know, the Beaux Arts Ball occurs every year in January as TASI’s main fundraiser, and we try to have a different theme for each iteration, so it’s always unique and challenging and always a fantastic time. This year is no exception!
Though we have kept it hush-hush so far, tickets are officially on sale starting tonight, so we are now proud to announce the theme of the 2025 Beaux Arts Ball: SPEAKEASY!
The roaring twenties are back again!
Just as speakeasies became clandestine havens for creativity and community amid stringent regulations, The Art Studio is able to foster artistic expression and social dialogue, operating outside mainstream commercial framework. Much like the underground bars of the past, we thrive on the spirit of rebellion and innovation, providing a platform for marginalized voices and challenging societal norms. By embracing this legacy, we not only preserve the history of artistic defiance but also cultivate a vibrant community that champions creativity in the face of adversity.
Self-expression through fashion is highly encouraged at the Beaux Arts Ball, whether you’re wearing your finest formals, vintage interpretations, or full on costumes. Guests wishing to show off their outfits at the Ball will be invited to strut across the dance floor during the GRAND PROMENADE. The dress code is “Black and White” but as always, this is an optional theme, not a requirement.
There will be drinks, delicacies, and dancing! Performances will include iRule Dance Studio, award-winning vocalist Hunter Courts, and our preeminent drag queen Olivia Gardner, all hosted by the illustrious Ramona Young, with DJ Jstro keeping the dance floor moving. And just wait until you see what artwork is available in the silent auction!
